Cameron Grant

Cameron is a Brampton-based actor and theatre creator. He is a graduate of the Theatre and Drama Studies program at Sheridan College and the University of Toronto, Mississauga. Some of his recent acting credits include: Kim's Convenience (Thousand Islands Playhouse); 1851: Spirit & Voice (Soulpepper); Serving Elizabeth (Stratford Festival); 4 seasons at the Shaw Festival; Happy Birthday Baby J (Shadow Theatre); productions with Talk Is Free Theatre, Theatre Animal, Theatre Erindale, Secret Shakespeare Series, Canadian Rep Theatre and Clay and Paper Theatre. Cameron’s first play, Meet Chloe, a play that explores the challenges Black students face in the education system and the lack of Black curriculum content in the study of Canadian History, received its premiere at Carousel Players in the fall of 2021 and is currently available to schools virtually through to May 2023. Cameron also works as an artist educator and has developed and facilitated workshops for The City of Brampton Performing Arts, Theatre Direct, The Shaw Festival, Stratford Festival, Suitcase In Point Theatre, and high schools across Ontario.
