Laura Welch

Laura Welch (she/her) is a Hamilton-based actor, singer, and graduate of George Brown Theatre School. She is the Artistic Director of Light Echo Theatre. Her favourite credits include Monologuer in The Vagina Monologues (Light Echo Theatre), Jenna in The Team (Essential Collective Theatre/TheatreAquarius), Dancer Jr. and Lily in Holiday Radio Plays (Rook's Theatre), Dahlia in A Modicum of Freedom (Make Art Theatre), and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet: An Escapist Comedy (Make Art Theatre). Laura was also the Project Coordinator for The Safer Spaces Project which is a research project aimed at collecting data so that theatre spaces can facilitate more care and be less harmful.
